February 4, 2010 - Stream Global Services, Inc., (NYSE
AMEX:SGS), a premium business process outsourcing (BPO) service
provider specializing in customer relationship management for
Fortune 1000 companies, today announced that it has appointed
Deborah Keeman to vice president of learning and development. Based
in the company's Wellesley, Mass., office and reporting directly to
Richard Pitrolo, senior vice president of operations support
services, Ms. Keeman will be responsible for defining and ensuring
the successful delivery of service professional training and
learning programs throughout the enterprise.
Stream's learning and development team is an integral component
of the company's operations group, and ensures that Stream's
service professionals continually refine their skills to provide
our clients the highest level of performance and overall customer
satisfaction. The group maintains an emphasis on adult learning
principles including hands-on learning, simulations, and role plays
and closely aligns curriculum with client key performance
indicators (KPIs). Learning opportunities are experienced at the
new hire phase, prior to and during new product introductions and
at ongoing points throughout a client engagement.
Ms. Keeman brings more than 20 years experience in the
outsourcing and BPO industry to Stream and its newly defined role
of vice president of learning and development. As an industry
veteran in BPO and outsourcing, Ms. Keeman's valuable knowledge of
service professional training needs and their direct correlation to
client KPIs will be integral to the success of the program. Prior
to joining Stream, Ms. Keeman was vice president of marketing for
Enterprise Mobile, a leading outsourcer focusing on the challenges
of enterprise mobility. In addition to her work with Enterprise
Mobile, Keeman also ran the marketing efforts for industry-leader
3Com, Inc. She was also a member of the management team of Stream's
predecessor, Stream International, where she served as vice
president of marketing.
"I am thrilled to welcome Deb back to Stream as part of our
unparalleled operations team. Deb's deep knowledge and experience
within the BPO industry, coupled with her understanding of client
needs and training requirements, make her the ideal person to
spearhead Stream's learning and development efforts," said Stream's
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Scott Murray. "It is our goal
to create a continuous learning culture that expands our service
professionals' knowledge base, and as a direct result impact our
clients' end results. Working closely with Deb, we will ensure that
this culture is replicated across all Stream service centers
worldwide."
