BOSTON, MA. - January 6, 2010 - Stream Global Services, Inc.
(NYSE AMEX: SGS), a premium, global business process outsource
(BPO) service provider specializing in customer relationship
management services for Fortune 1000 companies, today announced
significant enhancements to its client management and direct sales
team. These new additions, together with a structural realignment
of the sales organization, enable Stream to better serve its
existing client base, as well as effectively reach out to new
accounts in emerging industry sectors and geographic regions.
The streamlining of Stream's client management and sales
organization enables Stream to achieve the following: tighter
strategic and operational alignment with current clients; ability
to attract new business opportunities while maintaining and
exceeding quality for existing accounts; and a dedicated team
focusing on emerging industry and geographic markets. Following its
acquisition of eTelecare in October 2009, Stream's client base has
grown to more than 70 clients. The company has streamlined its
client management teams - each led by a general manager - around
its major accounts to ensure a single point of contact for all
client services. Supported by the client management team, each
general manager maintains full responsibility and ownership for
overseeing the delivery of service and resources for our clients.
Included in these responsibilities are the coordination of
operations, technology, service footprint, customer satisfaction,
key client metrics, account revenue growth and profitability.
This increase in client management personnel allows Stream to
provide consistent delivery of standard processes and technology on
a global basis. Global client managers ensure that client
requirements are consistently met - regardless of service center
location - and that Stream's worldwide network or resources is
fully utilized to achieve the highest levels of service and
performance for its customers.
Stream has also invested in its direct salesforce to generate
new account acquisition in its key sectors of technology &
computing, telecommunications, entertainment & media, retail
and financial services. With the addition of Jeff Dixon, vice
president of new client sales development, Stream enhances its
ability to deliver a full suite of services, including sales
generation, client retention/loyalty, technical support and
customer care, to potential new clients. Jeff joins Stream from
U4EA Technologies and prior to U4EA, Polycom. During his tenure at
these and other leading companies, Jeff gained valuable experience
in both the service provider and VoIP technology arenas.
Stream is also investing in its emerging market organization
with the addition of Eric Kaufman as vice president of
international business development. Prior to joining Stream, Eric
served as president of Modus Media Japan. By adding this newly
created position, Stream is able to strengthen its global footprint
and client base by building its presence in China, Japan and South
America.
"Stream's investment in our client-facing team further
reinforces our long-term commitment to delivering our breadth of
services to our global accounts in a way that meets and exceeds
their expectations globally," said Robert Dechant, executive vice
president of global sales and marketing. "Many of our clients today
are serviced out of multiple service centers, across several
countries and in multiple languages. Our global approach to client
management ensures that we continue to deliver consistent quality
and create innovating new solutions to meet their changing needs to
increase lifetime customer value and retention."
