Stream Nicaragua openend in August 2008 to expand our abilty to
serve Spanish and bilingual customers of North American, South
American and Spanish clients by offering a nearshore option in
Managua, Nicaragua. The center provides a scalable and bilingual
alternative with a neutral accent ideal for U.S. Hispanic
customers.
As the capital of Nicaragua, Managua is the economic center and
a generator of services for the majority of the nation, and has a
population of more than one million inhabitants. Nicaragua's time
zones and proximity to the U.S. make it an attractive BPO
destination. In addition, Nicaragua has a high-growth economy,
strong U.S. and Canadian cultural affinity, robust
telecommunications infrastructure and a large pool of skilled,
multilingual workers.
